Work Environment

This position is onsite in our Cape Coral outpatient office, situated in a vibrant community known for its beautiful neighborhoods and active lifestyle. Your work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a predictable routine that facilitates work-life balance. Our clinic fosters collaboration, with a supportive team environment that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), encouraging open communication and shared learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients' physical conditions to identify their individual goals and needs.
• Manage a caseload of patients, typically one-on-one appointments, ensuring comprehensive care and personalized treatment.
• Design and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each individual, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote recovery.
• Incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise protocols, and rehabilitative modalities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Encourage patient engagement and motivation, supporting them throughout their rehabilitation journey toward optimizing functionality.
• Teach patients proper techniques for exercises and daily activities that foster independence and improve physical capabilities.
• Continuously monitor and record patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and documenting outcomes for ongoing evaluation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive and holistic care for patients.
• Promote preventative care practices to reduce the risk of re-injury and enhance long-term health management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, or chronic conditions affecting mobility and physical function. We serve a diverse clientele, primarily covered by private medical insurance, and our aim is to deliver personalized, effective treatment that meets the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) recognized by applicable accrediting bodies.
• Current and valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Commitment to ethical practice evidenced by a clean professional record, free of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of individualized exercise programs.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, for effective documentation and patient management.
• A demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based practices effectively in clinical settings.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
