Our rehabilitation center spans 5,000 square feet and is designed specifically for orthopedic and sports medicine therapy. Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, comprising a dedicated team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant. Situated in Fort Myers, a vibrant coastal city known for its beautiful weather and outdoor lifestyle, our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and resources to support innovative treatments. As a therapist, you will work onsite from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured and consistent schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their mobility goals and rehabilitation needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain an effective patient load, typically managing one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and focused care for each individual.
• Design and implement customized care plans utilizing diverse treatment techniques, rooted in evidence-based practices to boost patient outcomes.
• Implement cost-effective treatments to improve motion and mobility, prioritizing non-invasive options and minimizing reliance on medications.
• Provide continuous encouragement and support to patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering motivation and trust.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, optimizing patient progress through coordinated efforts.
• Document all services provided meticulously, maintaining clear communication and accurate records to inform future treatment decisions.
• Monitor and assess each patient's progress regularly, adjusting care plans as necessary to better meet their evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-surgery rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. Our clientele benefits from our expertise in treatment strategies aimed at restoring their mobility and improving their physical function.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Florida, with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures against it.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid background in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Experience in developing and executing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is required, candidates with additional backgrounds in specialized rehabilitation areas, including sports medicine, geriatrics, or chronic pain management, are preferred. Compensation and Benefits

You will receive a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings plans.
