Mobility Works Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Doctor of Physical Therapy to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida. Work Environment

Situated in warm and inviting Fort Myers, Florida, our outpatient clinic is designed to promote a friendly, patient-centric atmosphere. The setting allows for flexibility, with a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday, comprising 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients, tailored to each individual's unique needs and recovery goals.

• Implement personalized treatment programs developed in collaboration with the patient and fellow therapists, ensuring optimal outcomes based on the initial evaluation.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, reviewing medical histories and performing physical evaluations that lead to well-documented treatment plans.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient progress, incorporating clear documentation of initial evaluations, treatment updates, and discharge summaries.

• Engage with patients throughout their therapy journey, ensuring all discharge planning and follow-up care is conducted promptly and effectively.

• Adhere to clinical protocols and maintain compliance with all relevant state, local, and federal regulations to deliver safe and responsible patient care.

• Foster an environment of open communication with fellow staff, healthcare providers, patients, and their families, ensuring that everyone feels valued and respected.

• Participate in professional development opportunities and facility meetings to stay current with industry standards and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your practice will involve treating patients with a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will utilize evidence-based strategies to guide your treatment approach, assessing patients' needs holistically to facilitate their recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited physical therapy program.

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).

• Current licensure as mandated by the State of Florida.

• Current American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have specialized training or experience in orthopedic physical therapy. Familiarity with treatment modalities, therapeutic exercises, and the use of rehabilitation equipment will be beneficial.
