Work Environment

This role is primarily based onsite at our outpatient clinic, where the atmosphere is vibrant and team-oriented. You will work alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation technicians, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assessment and treatment for patients experiencing orthopedic issues, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Design, implement, and evaluate custom rehabilitation programs that align with the unique goals and progress of each patient.
• Maintain a balanced caseload, allowing for effective one-on-one patient interaction to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and restore movement, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
• Educate patients on non-surgical treatment options to reduce discomfort and reliance on medications, promoting a holistic approach to recovery.
• Incorporate evidence-based strategies into care plans, regularly updating and adapting them based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care across all levels of the healing process.
• Document patient progress meticulously within our EMR system, particularly utilizing Web PT, to track outcomes and inform treatment adjustments.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, cultivating a supportive and positive environment.
• Drive initiatives that promote fitness, wellness, and preventative care among our diverse patient base.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions affecting mobility. Our client base includes athletes aiming to return to peak performance, seniors seeking to maintain independence, and everyday individuals trying to lead pain-free lives. Your focus on personalized care will play a vital role in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher (DPT preferred).
• An active state licensure as a Physical Therapist with no history of disciplinary actions or sanctions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy, exercise program design, and implementation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (particularly Web PT) and a commitment to accurate documentation practices.
• In-depth knowledge of current best practices in physical therapy supported by research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in developing and instructing fitness and wellness programs tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Previous exposure to patient education methodologies focused on rehabilitative health and preventive care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual compensation between USD 100,000 and 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
