Work Environment

At Balanced Bodies Wellness Center, the work environment is characterized by collaboration and mutual support among healthcare professionals. You will be joining a skilled team that includes two experienced Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). This onsite role ensures that you work directly with patients in a welcoming and fully-equipped therapeutic space.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their specific rehabilitation goals and customize treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage an hourly caseload to ensure individualized attention, applying evidence-based practices in orthopedic settings.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to enhance patient mobility and reduce pain effectively.
• Document patient progress meticulously, using EMR software such as WebPT for consistency and clarity.
• Coach and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, reinforcing their commitment to recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to design interdisciplinary treatment plans that cater to the comprehensive needs of our patients.
• Evaluate treatment efficacy routinely, making necessary adjustments to optimize care and outcomes.
• Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs, addressing individual patient requirements from post-operative recovery to injury prevention.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices that strengthen physical fitness, enhance flexibility, and improve overall balance.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Unblemished professional reputation with no disciplinary actions or ethical violations.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise design.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure effective patient record management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package with an annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
