Power Plant Mechanic
You will serve as a fully qualified power plant mechanic performing a combination of shop, plant, and outside work as a multiple purpose hydroelectric power project.
Perform general powerhouse mechanical equipment maintenance.
Duties include identification and correction of problems causing mechanical equipment malfunctions, as well as performing periodic and unscheduled maintenance/repair of equipment common to hydroelectric facilities.
Perform a variety of types of welding (oxygen-acetylene, shielded metal-arc, TIG, MIG), cutting (oxygen-acetylene, carbon arc), brazing, and soldering operations.
Perform other support duties such as installing and repairing piping systems where pipefitter and plumbers' skills are required in conformance with applicable standards.
