Reporting to the department Director, the Transportation Program Administrator is responsible for the ownership of Transportation programs and projects, including initiation, planning, development, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of projects and programs. With limited administrative support, must be able to develop, plan, coordinate, and maintain the operations of complex benefit programs, systems, and special projects with an emphasis on program development and management including administration and compliance. Individuals in this classification demonstrate a significant degree of independence performing a variety of responsibilities for administering and managing program objectives, policies and procedures and monitoring/creating systems to promote and ensure compliance with governmental, regulatory, or organizational mandates. Must collaborate closely across all IEHP departments and with external organizations/Providers to lead and manage programs/projects. State and federal initiatives as it pertains to covered benefits. The local and regional Member and Provider demographics and relationships. Healthcare and/or transportation industry, specifically regarding managed care organizations. Non‑Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT/NMT) programs, oversight, or service coordination. Transportation brokers, contracted transportation providers, or networks. Excellent analytical skills Demonstrated Leadership skills Ability to standardize processes, develop flows and operating procedures Project management skills Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to: Build trust with internal and external partners with strong rapport. Establish and maintain effective working relationships across departments. Multitask effectively. Communicate effectively and succinctly with executive level staff.
