Adult Residential Administrator - Apple Valley

ADULT RESIDENTIAL ADMINISTRATOR – Apple Valley – $70,304 annual salary, 8‑hour shift Monday – Friday, on‑call. Job Summary The Administrator ensures and maintains regulatory compliance as mandated by licensing and Regional Centers, ensures the health, well‑being, and safety of the clients, maintains communication with conservators and other agencies, manages staffing and labor hours, and trains and mentors direct support professionals. Key Responsibilities Maintain open communication with conservators, family, service coordinators, and client advocates regarding health, well‑being, and quality of life, with strong knowledge in Title 17 and 22. Ensure appropriate staffing for the facility by hiring, training, and scheduling staff to provide adequate supervision and support for clients. Oversee daily business operations, including client notes documentation, medication audits, personal and incidental funds disbursement and audits, physical plant inspections, and maintenance of client and staff files. Review and amend time cards, conduct annual performance evaluations, and provide statements of discussions. Attend trainings mandated by Regional Centers. Communicate with staff regarding quality care assurance. Maintain safety compliance to prevent staff and client injury. Schedule medical appointments, follow up on doctor recommendations, and monitor residents’ overall medical condition. Act as first responder in emergencies and report special incidents according to applicable laws and regulations. Provide 24‑hour on‑call response as applicable. Perform other related duties and assignments as required. Registered Behavioral Technician certification. Adult Residential Facility (ARF) certification. DSP I and DSP II certificates. CPR/FA and CPI certification. At least 2 years of experience working with clients with developmental disabilities of Level 4I or higher.
