Retail Leasing Associate Attorney

A highly respected Am Law 200 law firm with more than 200 attorneys and offices in Atlanta and Washington, D.C. is seeking a Junior Real Estate Associate (0–3 years) to join its nationally recognized real estate practice. This role offers the unique opportunity to focus exclusively on retail real estate and build your practice alongside experienced attorneys representing some of the industry's leading landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers. No prior leasing or purchase and sale experience is required. The firm is committed to mentoring junior attorneys and providing hands‑on training in a sophisticated, high-volume retail real estate practice. You will gain experience with: Drafting and negotiating commercial retail leases (landlord and tenant representation) Purchase and sale agreements Reciprocal easement agreements (REAs) A broad range of commercial real estate transactions involving retail properties What they are looking for: 0–3 years of real estate experience Strong academic credentials Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills A motivated self-starter who enjoys collaborating with a team Compensation: The expected compensation range for this position is $200,000-$230,000 depending on experience.
