Overview
Registered Nurse – House Supervisor for a travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date 08/10/2026, duration: Weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,568–$2,750 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 5x8 Rotating. Setting: hospital with a 311-bed census and multiple patient care areas.

- Shift: 8-hour rotating shifts (8a–4p, 4p–12a, 12a–8a)
- Orientation: 80 hours
- Setting: hospital travel assignment with ED, birth place, surgical services, 14 med-surg units, and a 20-bed ICU
- Floating to units as needed and pre-approved time off (two per contract)

Responsibilities
- Provide hospital-wide house supervision across ED, Family Birth Place, Surgical Services, 14 med-surg units, and a 20-bed ICU; coordinate staffing and patient flow.
- Lead nursing operations during assigned shifts, ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with ICU leadership, participate with RRT and Code Team, and support crisis management and rapid response activities.
- Oversee EPIC documentation, ensure accurate charting, and reinforce infection control, patient safety, and regulatory procedures.
- Coordinate bed management, transfers, and escalation of concerns; support staff development, coaching, and orientation of team members.
- Act as on-unit liaison for nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary teams; monitor staffing productivity and maintain safe staffing levels.

Requirements
- NY RN license active and in hand for submission
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Previous charge/supervisory experience required
- Travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
- EPIC experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the assignment location (locals not accepted)
