We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join the accounting team and support expense management, reimbursement processing, and financial recordkeeping across multiple projects and departments.Position SummaryThe Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing, auditing, and processing employee expense reports, company credit card transactions, and reimbursement requests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience working in accounting, finance, or accounts payable functions. The Accounting Coordinator will collaborate with project teams, field employees, and management to ensure expenses are accurately documented and compliant with company policies.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and process employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.Verify receipts, invoices, mileage logs, travel expenses, and supporting documentation.Process employee reimbursements in an accurate and timely manner.Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and monthly statements.Investigate and resolve discrepancies, missing receipts, and expense-related issues.Maintain organized records and documentation for accounting and audit purposes.Assist with month-end close activities related to travel and employee expenses.Allocate expenses to the appropriate projects, cost codes, and departments.Generate reports and provide expense analysis to accounting and management teams.Support Accounts Payable and other accounting functions as needed.The Accounting Coordinator will ensure adherence to established financial controls and procedures.Qualifications2+ years of accounting, accounts payable, expense management, or bookkeeping experience.Experience in the construction, engineering, or project-based industry preferred.Strong understanding of expense reimbursement and reconciliation processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.The successful Accounting Coordinator will be dependable, proactive, and highly organized.Why Join Us?This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Coordinator who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and wants to contribute to the financial success of a growing organization.
