Duration: 3+ Months Contract  

Job Summary:

• Process orders and manage the movement, storage, and organization of records and materials.
• Perform physically demanding work involving lifting, carrying, loading, arranging, and moving boxes, bins, and totes.
• Work 5 days per week, 9 hours per day , including:
• • 30-minute lunch break
  • Two 15-minute breaks

Key Responsibilities:

• Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes.
• Handle boxes containing:
• • Files
  • Books
  • Binders
  • Backup tapes
  • Other stored materials
• Manually lift and carry boxes weighing 10–100 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Move materials using hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Process incoming and outgoing orders.
• Read labels and accurately identify and locate boxes.
• Use proprietary computer systems to track orders and determine box locations.
• Operate handheld scanners for inventory and order processing.
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Manually load boxes onto pallets.
• Load pallets onto trucks using manual and material-handling equipment.
• Safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks across uneven and concrete surfaces.
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders when required.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently kneel, squat, reach, stoop, bend, crawl, and twist throughout the shift.
• Walk and stand for extended periods.
• Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry materials without assistance.
• Carry boxes up and down inclines and stairs.
• Navigate changes in walking surfaces and elevations.
• Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance for prolonged periods .
• Work independently while performing physically demanding material-handling tasks.

Essential Qualifications:

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 100 lbs. without assistance .
• Ability to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling aids.
• Ability to work safely on uneven, concrete, and elevated surfaces.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical activities throughout the workday.
• Ability to work independently and follow established safety and handling procedures.

Required Safety Footwear:

• Protective footwear is required.
• Safety footwear must meet  ASTM F2413-11requirements for protective/safety toe-cap footwear.
• Footwear must have a slip-resistant rating designated as “Better” or “Best.”
