Our client is an established construction organization entering an important phase of continued growth and operational evolution. They are seeking an accomplished executive to lead a significant portfolio of operating businesses, strengthen performance across multiple markets, and build the leadership infrastructure needed for the next stage of the organization. Focus:

• Direct a portfolio of construction operations with accountability for financial performance, execution, leadership effectiveness, and sustainable growth.
• Translate enterprise priorities into actionable operating plans, measurable objectives, and clear accountability across multiple business units and locations.
• Strengthen financial and operational performance through disciplined forecasting, resource planning, profitability management, and ongoing evaluation of business results.
• Partner with business leaders to improve project execution, productivity, margins, and overall return on resources.
• Develop and mentor senior leaders while strengthening succession planning, organizational depth, employee engagement, and retention.
• Use operational data and business insights to identify performance opportunities, improve processes, and establish scalable practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with executive and commercial stakeholders to evaluate expansion opportunities, new markets, strategic investments, and other growth initiatives.
• Champion a high-performance culture centered on accountability, collaboration, safety, quality, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Skill Set:

• 10+ years of progressive operations management experience, including leadership of multiple business units, divisions, regions, or locations with significant revenue responsibility.
• Demonstrated success leading and growing a construction-industry business unit with full P&L responsibility. Commercial electrical contracting experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to generate profitable growth, improve operational performance, and strengthen organizational capabilities within a complex business.
• Experience leading senior-level teams across a multi-location environment, with the ability to establish credibility and align leaders around strategic priorities.
• Strong financial acumen encompassing budgeting, forecasting, profitability management, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
• Strategic planning and execution expertise, with the ability to convert long-term objectives into measurable operating priorities and results.
• Demonstrated success developing people, building succession pipelines, coaching senior leaders, and attracting and retaining leadership talent.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building capabilities, along with the ability to travel regularly.
