Position Summary Principal Contract Administrator – CPU. Come join the Metropolitan Council – an organization that operates transit and wastewater services, and administers housing and other grant programs for the metropolitan area. The primary internal customer for this job is the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES), which is responsible for collecting and treating wastewater from approximately 90% of the population in the Twin Cities areas. Other internal customers include Community Development, the unit responsible for helping the Council shape its regional growth plan and administering housing programs; and the Council's Regional Administration, which includes human resources, finance, government affairs, public affairs, information services and legal department. Responsibilities As a Principal Contract Administrator in our Contracts and Procurement Unit, you would be responsible for administering Council contract procurement policy, procedures and State and Federal laws for all contracts including design/build, construction, architectural/engineering, and other professional/technical service contracts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
