Picker Packer
Join a stable manufacturing company as a Picker Packer I, where you will play a crucial role in inspecting products for quality, packaging finished products for shipment, and ensuring orders are accurate before they leave the facility. This position requires operating packaging equipment, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with a team to meet daily production goals.
Responsibilities

• Inspect products for quality and ensure they are free of defects before shipment.
• Package finished products and apply labels accurately.
• Ensure order accuracy before products leave the facility.
• Operate packaging equipment and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Work alongside a team to meet daily production goals.
• Catch damaged, defective, or incorrect products before reaching customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous packaging or warehouse experience
• Experience working with production quotas
• Familiarity with shipping processes
• Experience operating bagging or blister pack equipment
• Lean manufacturing exposure
• Quality control experience

Work Environment
The position is located in a manufacturing facility that is not temperature controlled, with both automated and manual machinery. Employees work in an active, team-oriented environment, frequently moving, inspecting quality, and preparing orders for shipment. The culture is friendly and supportive, with music playing in work areas and a welcoming atmosphere for new hires.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Braintree, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
