Associate Manufacturing Tech - Night Shift

Job Title Associate Manufacturing Tech – Night Shift Location Concord, NC Starting Pay & Sign‑on Bonus Hourly rate: $18.50 plus a $1.20 shift premium for night work. Overtime available at 1.5×. Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 paid in two installments—first after the first week, second after six months of employment. Shift Night shift 5:50 pm–6:00 am (12‑hour shifts) on a 2‑2‑3 schedule. Plant operates 24/7. Responsibilities Operate industrial film manufacturing equipment (extruders, laminators, ovens, etc.) and powered industrial vehicles. Prepare and monitor chemical solutions; test product quality to meet specifications. Troubleshoot production issues and instrument malfunctions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Record process events in logbooks and provide observations to engineers. Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment. Communicate effectively with team members and other Celgard departments. Train and cross‑train employees as needed. Support data management and collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to optimize throughput. Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and confidentiality requirements. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar environment. Strong attendance and safety record. Ability to multitask and operate multiple machines. Computer literacy and willingness to learn new software and scanners. Key Attributes Stellar work ethic, teamwork, and independence. Quick learner with practical application. Working Environment Manufacturing plant with chemical exposure. Requires standing/walking ~80% of time, adequate lighting and temperature. May need to lift up to 35 lb.
