PERM - Neurologist Outpatient

VHS is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurologist to join our outpatient practice in Dothan, AL. Overview:
This outpatient Neurologist role involves delivering expert neurological assessments and treatments at a single clinic location, with no weekend, call, or holiday requirements. The practice is supported by a team of neurointerventionalists, neurohospitalists, and a dedicated neurosciences team, including stroke teleneurology services and a Neuromuscular Rehab & Balance Center. The position emphasizes quality patient care, professional growth, and work-life balance.

Required Skills:

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology
• Proven experience in outpatient neurology practice
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in neurology
• Excellent communication and patient management abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with neurointerventional procedures
• Knowledge of stroke management and teleneurology systems
• Additional certifications in neurology subspecialties

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of a neurology residency program
• Prior outpatient neurology experience preferred

Other Requirements:

• Valid medical license to practice in Alabama
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development

Compensation includes a competitive annual base salary above MGMA standards, with a productivity bonus option. Total pay combines an hourly rate and per diem, if applicable.
