Property Manager - Columbus, Ohio

MissionHires is seeking a Property Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations, leasing performance, resident experience, and financial results for a 100‑unit active adult community. Ideal for an experienced Assistant Property Manager ready to step up or a Property Manager seeking growth in a scaling organization. Responsibilities Oversee end‑to‑end leasing from inquiry to move‑in to achieve occupancy and NOI goals Manage daily property operations to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and operational efficiency Conduct regular property inspections and resolve operational issues promptly Build positive relationships with residents, prospects, team members, and vendors Address resident concerns and ensure timely completion of maintenance requests Maintain accurate records including resident files, maintenance logs, and financial reports Prepare, manage, and report on property budget and financial performance, including variance analysis Collect rent and fees with timely and accurate processing Partner with the Lifestyle Coordinator and Ambassadors of Community Engagement to deliver a vibrant resident experience Schedule, coordinate, and oversee staff assignments and work schedules Monitor local market trends and competitor activity Coordinate with marketing on outreach, events, and online campaigns to attract prospective residents Develop local referral relationships and community partnerships Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field preferred 3–5+ years of property management experience (e.g., Assistant Property Manager, Property Manager) within multifamily, active adult, student housing, conventional, affordable housing, or senior living Demonstrated success driving occupancy growth, financial performance, and resident satisfaction Strong leadership and sales aptitude Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed Physical ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs; and navigate all areas of the property including stairs and outdoor spaces Benefits Excellent Benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr MissionHires
