Security Officer Patrol Access Assistant
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will be part of a caring, agile, and reliable team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork every day.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and/or vendor activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Prepare clear reports of incidents, patrol activity, and daily observations while supporting Allied Universal standards and the expectations of the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
