GENERAL STATEMENT OF POSITION:

The Regional Director of Sales and Marketing (RDSM) is responsible for the management of the sales and marketing functions for all assigned communities in a region, for the purpose of meeting budgeted occupancy and revenue goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Provide sales leadership and support to multiple communities to ensure achievement of budgeted occupancy and revenue goals and striving towards 100% occupancy.
• Implement and ensure adherence to the company sales and marketing program
• Support, promote, and embody the company principles of Protect, Engage, and Love
• Provide consultation services to the executive directors to identify sales and marketing barriers, issues and opportuinties in their community and market. Support executive directors in becoming effective sales managers skilled in sales and business development
• Assist the community executive directors in the hiring and on-boarding of the community relations director position
• Train, motivate, and support community relations directors to develop and execute sales skills, achieve sales standards, and utilize best practices
• Observe and coach CRD’s on the sales process at the community and in the field with both prospective families and professional referral sources providing insight and critique of performance and presentation skills
• Evaluate sales activity and performance by analyzing the community CRM database and reports, including the quality of data entry and notes, conversion rates, and follow-up on leads and referral sources. Ensure that all information is accurate and maintained daily in the CRM
• Assist in development of effective community sales and marketing plans by maintaining a knowledge of market conditions, including competition and referral sources. Assist in identifying local market opportunities
• Develop and execute a regional sales and marketing plan monthly defining priorities and objectives. Effectively communicate issues and barriers quickly to supervisor
• Travel 75 - 80% requirement

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• A bachelor’s degree and prior work related experience or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in assisted living, memory care, and/or senior living 
• 5 years of sales management experience – multi-site responsibility preferred
• Proven track record in sales and in improving sales performance and achieving sales goals at the community level.
