Title: Manager, Finance & Business Operations Location: Burbank, California Type: Full-time In-Office Requirement: Hybrid - 3 days per week in office Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 Position Overview: Mythical is seeking a Manager, Finance & Business Operations to support the company’s financial operations and manage day-to-day partner relationships and business reporting for Mythical 24/7. This role will serve as an internal bridge between Mythical’s teams and its external accounting and finance partners, helping ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, maintaining visibility into company cash flow, and coordinating financial reporting across select affiliated businesses, strategic investments, and venture partners. The Manager will also own Mythical 24/7’s platform relationships, business reporting, and partnership opportunities, working closely with internal Programming, Analytics, Production & Post, Marketing, Legal, and Finance stakeholders to support the continued growth of the channels. Reporting: This role will report to the President. Finance & Accounting Serve as an internal liaison with Mythical’s external accounting and finance partners, helping ensure timely communication, reporting, and resolution of outstanding financial items. Support the monthly close process by coordinating with department leaders to review financial statements, resolve coding and accrual questions, and close out outstanding items. Review monthly company financial reporting and identify material variances, outstanding questions, or areas requiring follow-up. Maintain and update Mythical’s company-wide cash flow forecast, incorporating actual performance, known commitments, and expected future receipts and expenditures. Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, working across departments to collect inputs and maintain consolidated company reporting. Help improve internal financial processes, reporting tools, and cross-functional workflows to ensure information is accurate, timely, and easy to understand.

FAST Business Manage business relationships with Mythical 24/7’s FAST platform partners, including ongoing commercial conversations, reporting needs and partner requests. Maintain consolidated reporting across FAST partners, including revenue, viewership, platform availability, and provide regular updates to leadership. Track and assess platform opportunities against priorities set by leadership Own the relationship with Mythical 24/7’s programmatic advertising sales partner, tracking performance and identifying opportunities to improve monetization. Partner with Brand Partnerships to identify opportunities to incorporate Mythical 24/7 into relevant branded campaigns, sponsorship packages, and sales pitches. Work closely with Analytics & Optimization to bring performance insights and programming recommendations into FAST business planning and partner conversations. Coordinate with Production & Post, Programming, Marketing, Legal, and other internal teams to ensure partner needs and business priorities are clearly communicated. Portfolio & Business Reporting Coordinate the collection and review of monthly and quarterly financial statements and reporting from designated existing affiliates or investments Identify meaningful changes, reporting gaps, or performance issues and escalate them to leadership as needed. Support periodic financial analysis and reporting related to Mythical’s broader investment and partnership portfolio. Requirements 3-5+ years of relevant experience across finance operations, accounting coordination, financial reporting, FAST or partner management. Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience reviewing financial statements, building or maintaining financial models, and working with budgets and forecasts. Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial and operational data. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage recurring monthly and quarterly workflows across multiple stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners. Ability to independently drive follow-up, identify unresolved issues, and bring open items through completion. This position is based in Mythical’s Burbank office and follows the company’s hybrid work schedule.
