Inter-Con remains 100% family owned and managed and operates as the industry leader in the field of customized, high-requirement security solutions./ppInter-Con is Everywhere Security Matters./ppJob Summary/ppThe Proposal Manager will join a growing and dynamic Business Development team and be responsible for leading and developing compliant, high-quality solicitation responses for State, Local, and Education (SLED) and commercial clients./ppThis role will focus on opportunities across transit agencies, counties, municipalities, and private sector organizations. In addition to drafting and editing proposal content, the Proposal Manager will manage the full proposal lifecycle including kick-off meetings, compliance reviews, content development, coordination with cross functional contributors, and final production for timely submission./ppThis role requires strong attention to detail, deadline management, and experience working in structured government procurements, including responding to RFPs RFQs, and related solicitations./ppPrimary Responsibilities/pulliLead the end to end development of proposals across SLED and commercial opportunities, including large scale and complex pursuits/liliDevelop and manage proposal schedules, ensuring alignment across operations, finance, HR, and executive leadership/liliDrive capture and proposal strategy discussions to align messaging with client priorities, operational capabilities, and win themes/liliTailor responses to reflect client specific needs across diverse environments, including large public sector programs and commercial clients/liliEnsure all submissions are fully compliant, professionally formatted, and aligned with company standards and branding/liliParticipate in presentation strategy sessions, contributing to storyboard development, messaging alignment, and preparation for client presentations and or oral defenses/liliSupport post submission activities, including coordinating responses to client clarification requests and follow up questions/liliMaintain accurate opportunity and proposal data within CRM platforms such as Salesforce, as needed/liliSupport continuous improvement by participating in debriefs, analyzing feedback, and strengthening future proposal strategies/liliProvide additional writing, editing, and project support as needed/li/ulpQualifications/pulliBachelors degree in English, Marketing, or other relevant major, can be swapped for additional years of experience in drafting RFP content/lili3+ years of direct experience in proposal development, technical writing or solicitation response within structured environments/liliStrong understanding of SLED and commercial evaluation methodologies,/liliAbility to manage multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment/liliStrong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills/liliProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and CRM Platforms such as Salesforce/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pulliExperience supporting large, complex pursuits within public sector agencies or enterprise commercial clients/liliFamiliarity with compliance driven procurement environments and best value evaluation frameworks/li/ulpInter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability/Veteran./p/div
