Cocktail Server

Server Position

The server is primarily responsible for delivering hospitality and extraordinary service to guests dining in the restaurant. This position is also responsible for cleanliness and safety of the dining and employee areas of the property.

Compensation and benefits include $15.50 to $16.30 per hour plus tips, paid sick leave, flexible schedule, discounts on meals, and career advancement opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities include anticipating guests' needs and exceeding guest service expectations, protecting establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies, being knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu, taking orders, serving dining guests, and processing payment, keeping designated service stations clean and organized, responding urgently and appropriately to guests' needs, exhibiting a professional appearance and mannerisms, ensuring guests are enjoying their experience and taking action to correct any problems, concluding the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return, and completing assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift.

Qualifications/requirements include minimum 6-months serving experience in a full-service restaurant (liquor, beer, & wine), a desire to help where needed and work as part of a team, ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells, excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, flexibility to work a variety of shifts, must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time, must be able to carry trays and supplies (up to 30 lbs.), must be of legal age to serve alcohol, food handler certification, and responsible alcohol service certification.
