Baxter seeks a Controls Engineer I for their Marion, North Carolina manufacturing facility to develop engineering solutions, lead continuous improvement projects, and support equipment validation and troubleshooting in a regulated healthcare manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engineering solutions for assigned projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct equipment validation activities, testing, and data analysis with documented reporting
- Lead change control activities and perform NCR/CAPA investigations related to equipment
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for manufacturing equipment and systems
- Coordinate cross-functional teams on projects involving new and existing product lines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics preferred)
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming and HMI systems
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices
- Experience in regulated industry environments (preferred)
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, safety systems, and schematic interpretation
Compensation: $76,000 - $104,500 base annually
