Laboratory Technician

Position Overview

• Responsible for the daily management of laboratory samples and document retention systems.
• Support the processing team in sample preparation and analysis of forage samples.
• Support processing teams with sample processing and testing.
• Tasks include but are not limited to sample grinding, NIR scanning, labeling, and weighing.
• Participate in lab housekeeping program and follow designated policy
• Proactive focus on workplace safety and shows initiative to work safely and follow policy

Qualifications :

• Education: High School Diploma Required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and associated tools
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Work effectively within a team, with strong communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• Experience with sample processing and laboratory testing is preferred
• Recent graduates will be considered.
• A science background is preferred, but candidates from any academic field will be considered.
• Laboratory experience is beneficial
