Assist in the development of training aids and curriculum used. Assist must be able to serve as a substitute in the instructor’s absence. Education and Experience High School diploma or GED and one-year related experience and/or training. Preference will be given for proficiency in the use of technology. Experience in automotive service industry required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Display professional attitude toward fellow workers, supervisors, students, and patrons at all times. Complete clerical assignments as directed. Assist with instructional duties as directed. Assist students with written assignments as needed. Assist students with the completion of their lab activities as needed. Assist with student supervision. (Report a problem to the instructor or an administrator.) Maintain a safe working environment in shop areas. Assist in the pickup, delivery, and recordkeeping of supplies and equipment. Contact instructor daily for work assignments. Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Plan and prioritize duties so they can be completed efficiently and timely.
