Job Description If you’re a revenue driver who knows how to turn square footage into sold-out success, this is your stage. Atrium Hospitality is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the charge at the Embassy Suites Nashville SE – Murfreesboro—a dynamic, all-suite property featuring 283 spacious rooms and over 40,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. From high-impact corporate events to unforgettable social gatherings, this role sits at the center of it all—where strategy meets execution and every booking tells a story of growth, energy, and market leadership. What You Will Do: Lead and inspire a team of Sales and Event professionals—guiding performance, coaching growth, and ensuring alignment with Atrium’s core values. Drive revenue by generating new group leads and building strong client relationships through proactive outreach, site visits, and negotiations. Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Revenue Management to shape the hotel’s pricing and inventory strategies as part of the Revenue Strategy Team. Act as the property’s marketing lead—owning the look, feel, and message across social media, digital, print, and third-party sites (unless a shared services team supports the property). Provide financial oversight of the sales department, including budgeting, forecasting, and participating in financial reviews. Serve as the primary liaison with Enterprise Sales and stay involved in the community to enhance hotel visibility and partnerships. What We Are Looking For: 5+ years of hotel sales leadership experience: Because leading a high-performing team requires credibility, insight, and a deep understanding of hospitality sales cycles. Track record of exceeding sales goals: You Will need a strong individual contributor mindset with the ability to scale success across your team. Experience with all major market segments (Group, Transient, Social Events): Because a great DOSM is agile across all verticals. Proficiency in sales systems like Delphi.fdc/CI/TY and ProfitSword: Tech fluency enables smarter decisions and better forecasting. Excellent communication and negotiation skills: Because leadership is about influence, not just authority.
