Overview We are looking for an intern to shape the future of manufacturing by modeling and simulating advanced production systems for electric motors. The role involves working at our Bühl facility with experienced experts, driving innovations in the Electrified Motion business area by linking advanced technologies with practical implementation. Responsibilities Model and simulate complex production systems and material flows on both line- and workshop level (Shopfloor). Design and conduct simulation experiments to assess and optimize material flow scenarios. Shape the future of intra‑logistics, including the use of driverless transport systems (AGVs/AMRs). Further develop simulation models into a digital twin by integrating them into MES- and IES‑systems. Validate models against real production data to ensure alignment between simulation and reality. Qualifications Ausbildung: Study in Simulation Technology, (Business) Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Erfahrungen und Know‑how: Knowledge of Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and SimTalk 2.0; basic programming skills (e.g., Python) are an advantage. Persönlichkeit und Arbeitsweise: Ability to analytically break down complex subject matters and independently develop structured solutions. Arbeitsalltag: Presence in the office required. Begeisterung: Passion for teamwork and the ability to present ideas clearly and convincingly. Sprachen: Negotiation‑level German or English. Praktikum Details Beginn: To be agreed Dauer: 5–6 months (mandatory internship per SPO possible) Prerequisite for the internship is enrollment at a university.
