About the Role

The Company is seeking a General Counsel for Risk Management to lead and integrate the organization's risk management and legal functions. This strategic executive will be tasked with the proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The role is pivotal in safeguarding the company's legal, financial, and operational interests, and in supporting its long-term success through sound governance and disciplined risk management. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives, protect company assets, and enable sustainable business growth. Responsibilities include developing and implementing risk management and legal strategies, as well as providing guidance on regulatory compliance and best practices. The ideal candidate for this role at the company should have a strong background in both risk management and legal affairs, with a proven track record of integrating the two disciplines. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a valid license to practice law are required. The role demands a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, who can effectively partner with the executive team to drive the company's risk management and legal agenda.
