As part of a global legal team, the Legal Counsel, Employment will provide broad employment law support to Norstella, one of the world's largest pharma intelligence solutions providers. S. and international jurisdictions, working closely with Human Resources to deliver practical, business-focused legal advice. The successful candidate will bring substantive employment law expertise, strong judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.

S. and international jurisdictions, including employment claims and grievances, wage and hour issues, leave of absence compliance, and day-to-day employment questions.

• Draft, review, and update employment-related documents, agreements, and internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and alignment with business objectives.
• Partner with HR and Compliance Teams to lead or support internal employment investigations.
• Collaborate with HR and Compliance on internal training initiatives and the ongoing review and update of policies and procedures.
• Monitor changes to labor and employment laws and regulations across U.S. and international jurisdictions, and advise on their impact to the Company and its operations.
• Support the management of employment litigation matters in conjunction with external counsel where necessary.
• Participate in local and cross-regional team projects and contribute to global legal initiatives.
• 4–7 years of employment law experience, with some in-house experience preferred.
• active license in good standing to practice law in at least one U.Experience supporting international employment matters, particularly in the UK.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, research, and analytical skills.
• Prior in-house experience at a technology, life sciences, healthcare, data, or information services company.
• Experience with HIPAA, data privacy, or healthcare-related employment matters.
• Experience managing outside counsel relationships and overseeing legal spend.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
