Wayne Shoemaker State Farm Agency is seeking an Insurance Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member to join our team. We are looking for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying customer needs, and contributing to the continued growth of the agency.

In this role, you will work with prospective and existing customers to help identify insurance needs, develop new business opportunities, support account relationships, and provide a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, comfortable discussing insurance products, and motivated by individual and team goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service examples would be answering and transferring calls, following up on claims, responding to inquiries, collecting payments, billing clarifications, answering customer questions, quoting, writing new policies, and follow-up on requests.
• Help our Agency grow through customer acquisition and retention.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attendance.
• Ability to be part of a Team focused environment and support meeting agency goals.
• Willingness and ability to learn, and to follow directions of Team Leaders.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Complete 2 pre-employment assessments, about 15 minutes each.
• 5 years work experience
• Complete employment applications and pass a background check.
• Participate an in-person interview.
• Able to effectively relate to a customer
• Bilingual - Spanish preferred
• Be able to effectively relate to a customer, answer their questions, and meet their needs.
• Maryland State Insurance licensing required.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
