Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology is needed for a unit in Peoria, Illinois. This position involves providing specialized care to oncology patients, including administering IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy, monitoring for medication side effects, and supporting patient recovery. Candidates are required to bring their active Illinois nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Peoria, Illinois
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Floor
• Shift: 12-hour shifts starting at 0700 or 1900, with a schedule of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated, minimum of 0 years of experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimens, administration, hanging/handling precautions for chemotherapy, and monitoring for side effects of medication.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, beginning July 6, 2026. The schedule may vary depending on unit needs, and self-scheduling is coordinated with the designated manager.
• Additional Information: The facility utilizes Epic Beacon for electronic medical records. No specific scrub color mandated. The unit works every other holiday.
• Submission Requirements: Last four digits of the clinician's Social Security Number, clinician's middle initial, active Illinois license or confirmation that application has been initiated, and the candidate understands the facility's drug-free policies and must produce a negative drug screen.
