Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist, Reg, 2-5 yrs Contract

Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing and assisting in ultrasound examinations, providing technical support to the Radiologist, and ensuring the maintenance and care of all ultrasound equipment. This role requires proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment, preparing patients for examinations, and capturing images for physician review. Additional responsibilities include mentoring new personnel, managing supplies, and performing administrative tasks such as scheduling and answering telephones.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of office and administrative practices.
• Skill in using personal computers and software.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
