Our client in Broomall is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator !

Material Handler/Forklift Operator Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM
• Pay Rate: $21-$23/HR
• Healthcare benefits after 30 days
• Weekly pay
• No weekends
• Room for growth

Material Handler/Forklift Operator Job Description:

• Move completed packages using pallet jack, material handling equipment
• Responsible for the packaging, inspection, and shipment of a variety of small and large manufactured hardware products
• Preparing shipments for safe transit, and verifying accuracy of packed orders against customer specifications and production work orders by weighing, measuring, inspecting, and labeling the items
• Perform final checks for defective items, ensure all working items make it to the loading area or inventory, and keep detailed records of materials prepared for shipment
• Pick, pack, wrap, foam, and seal product to ensure quality during transit

Material Handler/Forklift Operator Job Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately count parts and pieces of varying size and shape
• Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools and basic measurement devices
• Knowledge of the manufacturing trade - calipers, rulers, tape measures
• 7-year criminal background check and drug screening
