Staff Accountant Location: Morristown NJ Salary: to $75K plus bonus Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant with corporate accounting experience. Exposure to ASC842 a plus. What will be expected of you as Staff Accountant? Perform general ledger month end close including review of related accounts, and identifying and preparing journal entries and posting updates in the accounting system Review contracts to identify leases and summarize key terms; enter new leases into the system Partner with internal stakeholder to ensure proper accounting treatment Perform monthly account reconciliations to the G/L Prepare monthly/quarterly schedules in accordance with GAAP Record amortization and depreciation Assist with some special projects What qualifies you for this Staff Accountant position? Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 2 years of experience in general accounting NetSuite experience a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr WatsonBarron Group
