Job Description
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule

12H Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every third weekend required.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call time.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Must have successfully completed at least one travel assignment, preferably more.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Ability to manage critically ill adult patients with various medical emergencies and post-surgical care.
• Experience with pediatric patients in critical situations is a plus.
• Stroke management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult and pediatric patients.
• Monitor vital signs and manage life-support equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care processes.

Compliance / Notes

Must be separated from previous employment at the facility for 6 months to be considered for re-hire.
