Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule: Days, rotating weekends.

Assignment Details: This position supports staffing across multiple healthcare facilities. Flexibility to float between facilities is required. Schedules may include primarily weekend shifts or minimal weekend requirements.

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
• AHA ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Preferred: Fetal Monitoring Certification and STABLE.
• Minimum of 2 years of labor experience, including labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care of mother and newborn.
• Epic proficiency required.
• Possession of a personal automobile and ability to travel for work assignments is necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
• Conduct assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and other vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with standards.
