Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of cardiac telemetry, rhythm interpretation, and management of IV cardiac medications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' heart rhythms and vital signs, identifying any critical changes.
• Administer IV medications and manage continuous infusions.
• Document patient care using the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in the education and support of patients and their families regarding stroke care and rehabilitation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York State RN License.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year of telemetry or stepdown experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Proven ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage acute care patients.
• Experience with critical drips and stroke management preferred.
