Port St. Lucie, Florida Primary Care Physician Opening Clinical Role: Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? We are seeking a Board-Certified Primary Care Physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to join an established, senior-focused outpatient primary care practice in Port St. Lucie, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced care team with an established patient panel and a unique value-based care model focused on quality outcomes, preventative care, and spending meaningful time with patients.

Practice Highlights

• Outpatient only MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM
• Onsite, in-person position
• Established patient panel
• Senior-focused Medicare Advantage population
• Average daily census of 1417 patients
• 45-minute authorized appointments, allowing more time with patients
• Focus on quality patient care rather than high-volume/RVU-driven medicine
• Collaborative care team including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, and Care Coaches
• Opportunity to address both medical needs and social determinants of health
• Value-based care model with a strong emphasis on preventative care and quality outcomes
• Athena EMR DAX AI documentation software available

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Minimum of 2+ years of primary care experience
• Experience managing a Medicare Advantage patient panel preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage
• Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators
• Experience in outpatient primary care, private practice, or a similar clinical environment
• Knowledge of or experience with value-based care
• Active Florida medical license (ability to obtain prior to start)
• Spanish and English fluency preferred
