YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Drive Class A tractor-trailers to deliver freight, general goods, and specialized cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; promptly report any defects, accidents, or violations. Load, secure, and inspect cargo; adhere to special handling protocols for hazmat or temperature-sensitive items. Maintain accurate Hours of Service logs and all necessary DOT/FMCSA documentation. Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete. Plan routes and schedules to adhere to pickup and delivery timelines. Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep the trailer clean and ready for use. QUALIFICATIONS Valid Class A CDL — mandatory. HazMat endorsement preferred but not required. High School Diploma or GED. TWIC card preferred but not required. Must successfully pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical standards.
