Participation in the GIG Nursing Program requires nurses to self-schedule a minimum number of hours, maintain flexibility for short-notice staffing needs, and accept the possibility of last-minute shift cancellations. • $40/hour Base Rate

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Qualifications Required Education

Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.

Preferred Education

BSN

Licensure

Must maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact state licensure and meet all applicable state board of nursing requirements.

Experience

• Minimum two (2) years of recent bedside RN experience in Critical Care/ICU within the last 2 years.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred Experience

• Epic EMR experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly

• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts

• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat while performing patient care duties
