Job Details Job Details: Supports attorneys managing a high-volume litigation docket, handling legal, secretarial, and office duties including document prep, calendaring, trial/hearing prep, billing, and electronic file management. Reports to HR. Calendar deadlines; file/serve documents in state and federal court; open new matters Draft, edit, and format pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and legal correspondence Manage attorney calendars (meetings, depositions, hearings, trial dates, travel) Process expense reports, reimbursements, and check requests Liaise with clients and vendors Enter attorney time and assist with client billing Qualifications Familiarity with TX state/federal civil procedure and e-filing 80+ wpm typing; strong computer skills (scanning, e-filing) Self-starter; works well under deadline pressure with minimal supervision Strong organization, time management, and communication skills Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Acrobat, and a document management system (e.g., iManage); Best Authority experience a plus Excellent proofreading skills Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
