HR Generalist II

Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 base salary plus a 3–5% bonus

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on HR Generalist II to join a collaborative onsite HR team supporting a Denver‑based manufacturing organization. This role is primarily responsible for full‑cycle recruiting for professional and salaried positions—including engineering, quality, sales, commercial, and office‑based roles—while supporting broader HR needs across an operational workforce. The successful candidate will be a strong business partner to managers and employees, bringing practical recruiting ownership, sound employee‑relations judgment, and a willingness to step in where needed as part of a small team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead full‑cycle recruiting for professional and salaried roles, from intake meetings and candidate strategy through interviews, offers, and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles, create job postings and interview tools, coordinate interviews, and support hiring decisions. Support hiring for hourly and operational positions as needed, in partnership with the broader HR team. Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, policies, documentation, and HR best practices. Participate in workplace investigations, employee‑relations matters, corrective action, and appropriate escalation. Support onboarding, offboarding, employee records, HRIS administration, benefits questions, performance reviews, development, engagement, and training initiatives. Monitor recruiting and workforce metrics and identify opportunities to improve HR processes and systems. Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, audits, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements. Contribute to employee engagement activities and other site‑based HR needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field required. 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience. Demonstrated full‑cycle recruiting ownership for professional and salaried roles; experience recruiting engineers, quality professionals, sales/commercial talent, or similar positions is strongly preferred. Employee‑relations, manager‑coaching, performance‑management, and workplace‑investigation experience. Working knowledge of employment laws, HR processes, regulations, and best practices. Strong communication, organization, judgment, discretion, and ability to build credibility with leaders and employees. Experience in manufacturing, industrial, supply chain, field service, retail/corporate, or another mixed‑workforce environment preferred. SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within 12–18 months. #J-18808-Ljbffr TES Recruiting
