Come join our Life Enrichment team!Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate, skilled and professional Part-time Massage Therapist to provide exceptional massage therapy services to our residents and staff. If you are passionate about improving quality of life and creating a relaxing experience for others we would love to hear from you.Massage therapists work primarily in our Essence Day Spa and periodically in our Assisted Living and Skilled Care Center located on our campus. You will have a high amount of autonomy in your role including having a flexible schedule.Requirements include:Must be licensed in the State of IowaGraduated from a massage therapy training program approved by the State of IowaAbility to provide a full menu of massage services - previous experience is preferredInteract in a calm and positive manner while providing massage therapy experiencesDemonstrate effective communication skills with residents and staffMaintain Professional Liability Insurance with a minimum of $1 million /claim; $3 million aggregate coverageAbility to work occasionally at planned events throughout the yearAll spa supplies and product are provided.Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test.Friendship Village is an equal opportunity employer.
