Travel Interventional Radiology Technician - $3,356 per week

Position Overview Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer for a 13‑week assignment in Rockville, Maryland. The role requires a licensed Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures. Contract Details Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week (10‑hour days) Shift: 4×10 days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak, and other clinical systems related to modalities. Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification. Assist the supervisor in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care. Ensure that relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam. Assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence. Act swiftly and critically during emergencies. Qualifications Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer. Independent decision‑making skills. Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions. Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families. Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees. Capacity to maintain regular attendance. Compliance with all local health regulations and successful completion of a post‑offer health assessment. Physical and sensory requirements: walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, hearing and responding to pages, reading and writing, verbal and written communication, remaining calm under stress, and distinguishing smells, tastes, and temperatures.
