Location Main Street,Sewell, NJ, 08080,United States Base Pay $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 / Year Employee Type Full Time Required Degree 4 Year Degree Travel 40% Director, Human Resources Business Partner Northern and Southern New Jersey and Pennsylvania Heart to Heart is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support residential group homes, supervised apartments, and day programs throughout Southern New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees while supporting employee relations, performance management, leave administration, compliance, employee engagement, and talent initiatives. This position will play a critical role in helping Heart to Heart build a strong people-focused culture while ensuring consistent HR practices across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, solutions‑oriented, and comfortable working directly with operational leaders and frontline staff. Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field preferred. Experience 7-10 years of Human Resources experience. Employee relations and investigations experience required. Experience supporting managers in a multi-site environment preferred. Healthcare, behavioral health, social services, nonprofit, or human services experience preferred. Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, employee relations, and employment law. Preferred Certifications Employee Relations Investigations Conflict Resolution Coaching & Influencing Relationship Building Problem Solving Organization Skills Travel: 25–40% throughout Northern, Southern New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Summary Employee Relations Investigate employee complaints and workplace concerns. Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate action. Partner with managers to resolve employee issues in a fair and consistent manner. Assist with disciplinary actions, corrective action plans, and terminations. DDD, ODP, DHS & Regulatory Compliance Ensure full HR compliance with DDD, ODP, DHS, OLTL, and all applicable laws Oversee audit readiness, credentialing, and HR documentation Lead HR readiness for audits, inspections, and reviews Own corrective action planning following audits or findings Performance Management Coach managers on performance management and employee accountability. Support development and administration of performance improvement plans. Assist managers in addressing attendance and behavioral concerns. Promote consistent application of policies and procedures. Employee Engagement & Retention Support employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs. Assist with employee retention efforts and workforce planning initiatives. Conduct exit and stay interviews and analyze turnover trends. Promote a positive employee experience across assigned locations. Compliance & HR Administration Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Support policy interpretation and employee communications. Maintain employee records and documentation. Assist with audits and regulatory compliance activities. Talent & Workforce Support Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring efforts. Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation. Support workforce planning and staffing initiatives. Collaborate with Training & Development on employee growth opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
