Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician for a role in the OR (Operating Room) specialty. This position involves supporting surgical procedures by maintaining sterile technique, assisting surgeons, and ensuring patient safety in a dynamic surgical environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Under general direction, observes and practices sterile technique, maintains asepsis, and assists the surgeon as needed. Actively participates in patient care and safety, operating as a team member of the OR staff.
• Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Certifications include NBSTSA - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross). 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Experience in Musculoskeletal service line and total joint procedures is required. Coverage in orthopedic trauma is expected three days per week. The role involves taking rotating call duty, approximately every 5th-6th weekend, with weekend call beginning at 11 PM Friday through 11 PM Sunday.
