We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector II to support a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inspecting materials and finished products at multiple stages to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities
Receiving Inspection
- Inspect incoming raw materials, hardware, and finished goods
- Verify documentation aligns with purchase orders and specifications
- Perform inspections from first article through final stages
- Verify first articles and audit production jobs
- Support work-in-process inspections and SPC activities
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections using blueprints and checklists
- Ensure all job operations are completed and documented
- Generate inspection reports including FAIR and dimensional reports
- Verify labeling, packaging, and shipping documentation
Requirements
- 3-5 years of quality inspection experience in a machine shop environment (metal and/or plastic)
- Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of mechanical drawings
- Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, comparators)
- Working knowledge of GD&T and shop math
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards preferred
- Experience with inspection equipment such as CMM, Keyence, or similar systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete reports accurately
- Must be a U.S. Person in compliance with ITAR requirements
