RAYUS Radiology is looking for a CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide CT services within professional standards and with excellent customer service. This is a full-time position working in multimodalities (CT, C-arm, and X-ray) Monday-Friday various shifts between the hours of 7:00am-5:30pm, no call or weekends. Willing to train in CT. Option to work 0.8 or 0.9 status available (benefits included). Responsibilities Screen patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers. Explain and prepare patients for scanning imaging procedures, positioning them appropriately. Perform routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures, providing patient support throughout the procedure. Adjust scanning parameters correctly, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate. Follow physicians' orders precisely, conform to safety regulations, and maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS). Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements. Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting safety habits for patients and co-workers. Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades. Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary. Assist with training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise. Complete other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Required: High School diploma, or equivalent. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography. ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform CT procedures independently. Certification in imaging specialty. Preferred Bilingual.
