Position: Line Cook Reports To: Senior Sous Chef Summary The Line Cook supports kitchen operations by preparing food, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring cleanliness. This role assists the Senior Sous Chef and helps deliver excellent dining experiences. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and quality standards Organize workstations and manage food prep efficiently Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and proper food storage Monitor food quality, portions, and presentation Assist with inventory, deliveries, and stock control Support team during busy periods and communicate with kitchen staff Requirements Strong teamwork and attention to detail Positive, energetic attitude with a passion for cooking Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods Education & Experience High school diploma or culinary training Prior experience as a Line Cook in hospitality or a high-quality restaurant #J-18808-Ljbffr Canopy by Hilton Jersey City Arts District
